glima selects Motor City Interactive
NOVI, MI - glima, Automation Alley’s Association of Interactive Professionals, and glimaSoutheast has contracted Motor City Interactive to provide front-end website creative for glima and glimaSoutheast.

"I am excited to move forward on this project and believe that the sites will benefit members of glima affiliate and the South East chapters," said Beth Utton of Automation Alley. "Motor City Interactive a member of Automation Alley and glima, has worked closely with glima in the past and is considered to be a valued partner", added Utton.

Novi, Mich. – Michigan garage sale lovers got a new tool today with a Novi company’s launch of www.BestGarageSales.com, an online directory of garage, yard and estate sales that connects buyers and sellers more efficiently.

By leveraging the latest technology, BestGarageSales.com created resources that streamline the link between sale hosts and attendees, explains Jeff Stanislow, president and CEO of Motor City Interactive and the site’s creator.

“The simple goal of BestGarageSales.com is to make a garage sale more profitable for its hosts and more relevant for attendees. There is more to a garage sale than a three-line ad! This site offers it, from pre-planning tips, to sale searches customized by location and items, to instant maps showing a sale’s site, to the ability to upload photos,” Stanislow says.

For garage sale hosts, BestGarageSales.com offers:

  • Free basic listings
  • Enhanced listings, with features including space for photos and descriptions of items starting at $30
  • Garage sale starter kit, including signs, and T-shirts
  • A sweepstakes to win free mortgage payments for one year.

Hosts can enter multiple times with “garage sale dollars,” which shoppers print from BestGarageSales.com and present to the garage sale host.

A major advertising campaign – including ads beginning today on WWJ radio – will help drive traffic to the site, Stanislow says. Initially BestGarageSales.com will focus on Michigan, with plans to gradually expand the service into other states, adds Stanislow.
